Obverse: the coat of arms of the USSR with 15 turns of ribbon, to the left of it the letters "SS", right "SR", below the double line, under it the denomination of the value of the coin number "100" and below the word "RUBLEY".
Reverse: top along the cant the words "Games of the XXII Olympiad", below left the monogram of the mint "MMD", in the middle the sports hall "Druzhba", below right the year of issue of the coin "1979", below at the edge of the coin separated by a dot the word "MOSCOW" and the year of the XXII Olympiad "1980".
Gurt: rubbery (240 riffles).
