Gold 5-ruble coins featuring the portrait of Nicholas II and a double-headed eagle, minted from 1898 to 1911, excluding 1905 and 1908. The coins from 1907 are particularly valuable due to their extremely limited mintage (slightly over 100 pieces).
The edge of the coin features a pattern, except for some issues with a plain edge. The engraver's initials are indicated on the truncation of the neck.
